FX Wildcat .25 cal PCP Air Rifle

SILENT, DEADLY and ACCURATE

FX Wildcat .25 cal PCP Air Rifle

The FX Wildcat is one of the most desirable Bullpup hybrid rifles that has come to market. Building on the success and knowledge learned from the Bobcat series rifles, combined with the features and style requirements the shooter desires. The Wildcat is the first all new rifle to come out of the state of the art factory in Mariastad Sweden. The Wildcat represents many hours of complex design and systems testing. The end result has exceeded expectations for a compact, high power, and high accuracy performer. Features include a precise air regulator and new magazine system that is easy to load. The Wildcat valve system is powered by the new high grade aluminum air cylinder that sports a durable new tactical finish. Many hours of labor have gone into this new finger print resistant finish. The cocking lever has been engineered to be the smoothest operating possible with only the highest quality materials used. Forward placement of the charging lever the provides the quickest and most simple actuation. The joy of cocking and firing this new air rifle is only surpassed by the results found on the target. Utilizing the match winning Smooth Twist barrel, .5 inch groups at 50 yards are common.
The action is nestled into a durable synthetic stock with soft touch coating for all weather comfort. This new stock comes to point quickly and with the new scope rail design places the shooters eye in a comfortable and proper position to eliminate parallax error. The Wildcat represents a new era in quality and design for FX. This compact powerhouse will excite the Bullpup and tactical customer as well as perform as a full length gun for the more traditional shooter.

My personal setup:

FX Wildcat .25 cal
FX Wildcat Optional Weaver Rail
Tactical Bipod
ATN X-Sight 5-18 HD Day Night Scope

As far as bullpup design air rifles, this pup is the pack leader in my opinion. It is super accurate with its Smooth Twist super accurate barrel. The .25 cal gives the capability of shooting small game all the way up to white tail deer without issue. Shot placement on larger game is critical with small bore air rifles, however they are well suited and get the job done. The FX Wildcat in .25 has a more stable flight path for longer distance shots and bucks the wind much better than the .22 cal. The accuracy of all FX rifles are at the top of their game. Its no surprise the 2014 Extreme Benchrest Air Gun Competition in Arizona, that the FX line reigned supreme. Once you have this rifle dialed in, if you aim and shoot at your target, it is not uncommon to have consistent 1/2" at 50 yards. At 25 yards its even more common to keyhole your rounds. I feel any hunter wishing to primarily take small game especially at 50-75 yards would benefit from the FX Air Rifle. At $1399 some will think what the heck $1399 for a air rifle. Well is you want a air rifle that will replace or perform as well or better than a .22 and will take out large game this is your rifle.

  1. White tail deer is "small game". Where do you live? LOL!

I would strongly disagree with the contention that it is reasonable to shoot a deer with a .25 caliber projectile carrying at most 46.7 ft-lbs. of energy. If you were starving and had no other option, maybe, but not as an ethical sportsman IMO.

    1. "Small game all the way up to white tail". And shot placement being paramount with larger game. Your reading comprehension sucks.. imo
